About DocuPivot: Free PDF Tools That Respect Your Files

One file, one job, done

Most people who open a PDF tool are not looking for software. They have one file and one problem. The portal rejects anything over 2 MB. A contract needs a signature before lunch. Three pages have to come out of a 40-page report. A scanned letter needs to become text you can copy. DocuPivot exists for that moment: open the tool, finish the job, take your file and get on with your day.

There is no account to create, no trial that runs out, no watermark stamped on your result and no paid tier hiding the useful settings. Every tool is free, and every tool is complete.

Where DocuPivot came from

DocuPivot started as the document section of ToolsPivot, at toolspivot.com/doc. It grew into a full PDF toolkit with its own workspace, and it now has a home of its own at docupivot.com. The image tools that used to sit beside it moved to our sister site, PicsPivot, so each site can do one thing well.

Who makes it

DocuPivot is a brand of ToolsPivot and is built by the same small team. ToolsPivot was founded by Nadeem Raza, and the people who design, test and maintain its tools do the same for every DocuPivot tool. When you write to us, you reach that team directly.

Your file stays on your device whenever it can

DocuPivot has 57 tools. 32 of them run entirely in your browser, using pdf.js, pdf-lib and WebAssembly. Merging, splitting, rotating, signing, watermarking and editing happen on your own computer or phone, and the file is never uploaded to us. We could not look at it if we wanted to.

The other 25 tools need a server because the work cannot be done well inside a browser: converting Office documents with LibreOffice, reading scanned pages with OCR, compressing a PDF to an exact file size, adding or removing passwords, and the AI PDF Editor. For these, your file is processed on our own server and deleted within 30 minutes, whether or not you downloaded the result. The one exception to "your document goes nowhere else" is the AI PDF Editor, whose AI features send content to an AI provider; the tool tells you so on the page before you use them. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

What you can do here

Straight about the limits

We would rather tell you what a tool cannot do than let you find out at the worst moment. Server tools accept files up to 100 MB each, and each visitor can run about 20 server jobs an hour, which keeps the service quick for everyone. A conversion may not keep every detail of a complex layout, OCR can misread a poor scan, and AI output can be wrong. Keep your original file and check the result before you rely on it.

Eight languages

DocuPivot's interface is available in English, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese, French, Chinese, Arabic and Russian, so you can work in the language you think in.

How it stays free

Advertising pays for DocuPivot, through Google AdSense. That is the whole arrangement. We do not charge for features, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your documents for anything except producing the result you asked for.
